Day 1GUWAHATI AIRPORT / RLY STN– SHILLONG (130 KMS / 3 hrs drive)

Arrival at Guwahati airport or Rly station & drive to Shillong. Enroute visit Umium Lake. Check in Hotel. If time permits visit Ward’s Lake. Overnight at Shillong.

Day 2SHILLONG – LAITLUM CANYONS – JOWAI – SHILLONG (65 KMs / 2 ½ hrs-One way)

Early morning after breakfast visit Laitlum Canyons, a wonderful spot covered in mystical mist and fog. The view point is one of the most popular and sought after attractions for adventure and nature lovers. Later drive to Jowai. Visit Krang Suri Falls. Later drive back to Shillong. Overnight at Shillong.

Day 3SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE (60 KMs / 2 hrs-One way)

Today morning after breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee. Visit Dwan Syiem view point, Noh kalikai falls, Mawsmai caves, Seven Sister falls, and Eco Park etc. check in hotel. Overnight in Cherrapunjee.

Day 4CHERRAPUNJEE – NONGRIAT TREK DOUBLE DECKER BRIDGE

After breakfast we proceed for a full day trekking to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat Village. We have to trek down 3200 steps approximately each way to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge (7 hours trek). Later drive back to Cherrapunjee. Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

Day 5CHERRAPUNJEE – DAWKI – MAWLYNNONG – SHILLONG (85 KMs / 3 hrs-One way)

After breakfast drive from Cherrapunjee to Mawlynnong Village. Mawlynnong Village located in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya, also referred as ‘God’s own garden’ has won the acclaim of being the cleanest village in Asia in 2003. The village known for its cleanliness is located around 90 kms from Shillong and is a community based eco-tourism initiative. The community has made collective effort to maintain the ambience of a clean village. The village offers picturesque natural beauty, a trek to the Single Decker living Root Bridge at a neighbouring village Riwai. The village also offers a sight of natural balancing rock, a strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. Visit Dawki, the Bangladesh Border (Tamabil Border from Bangladesh side). Main attraction is the Umgot river with crystal clear water. You can enjoy along boat ride there, payment will be direct. Evening return back to Shillong. Check in Hotel. Overnight at Shillong.

Day 6SHILLONG – GUWAHATI AIRPORT / RLY STATION DEPARTURE (130 Kms / 3 Hrs)

Today morning after breakfast transfer to Guwahati airport or Railway station.

If vehicle will be used for any other purpose mentioned in the itinerary there will be additional charges for that.

The tour offers a combination of activities as the highlights include Shillong, Cherrapunjee, Dawki, Mawlynnong, Kaziranga National Park, Umiam Lake, Laitlum Canyons and the living root bridges.

Basically 6 to 10 day are enough for exploring the Assam and Meghalaya tour. However the duration will be customizable depending on traveller interest and available time.

The nearest Airport will be Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU) which is loacted around 20-25 km from Central Guwahati and nearest Railway Station will be Guwahati Railway Station (GHY) and Kamakhya Railway Station which is also the nearest railway station to Guwahati.

Visiting the Assam and Meghalaya will depend on the hotel category, number of travellers, activities and duration but Holiday Selfie will provide the best tour package designed according to your budget.

It is always better to book tour package to make the tour smooth and comfortable rather than travel independently.

25% cancellation fee if cancelled before 21 days prior to check in.
50% cancellation fee if cancelled before 15 days prior to check in.
100% cancellation fee if cancelled lesser than 15 days of check in.

If discontinuation of the package is made 30 days or more before the date of journey in such case 25.0% of total booking cost will be charged as cancellation service fees.
If discontinuation is made between 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel in such case 50.0% of total booking cost will be charged as cancellation service fees.
If discontinuation is made within 15 days before the date of journey in such case total booking cost will be charged as cancellation service fees.
In the condition of unforeseen weather conditions, union issues, government restrictions, or any other restrictions that is not in hand of human control the trips may be cancelled . In such cases, another options will be provided. However, a cash refund will not be available.

All packages are extendable on pro-rate basis as quoted at the time of Reservation only or subject to availability.
No refund will be provided for short stay or un utilized facilities.
The management reserves the right to alter or withdraw in part or cancel the facilities provided under this package and to change its prices without prior notice.

Children between 0 to 5 years-complimentary.
Children between 5-12 years will be charged as mentioned above per child per day with an extra bed sharing parent’s room inclusive of package meals & taxes.

After successful booking the customer will receive a confirmation voucher via email under 24 hours.
If the preferred slots are unavailable, an substitute schedule of the customer's preference will be arranged and a new confirmation will be sent via email.
On the other hand, the customer may choose to withdraw their booking before confirmation and a full refund will be processed.

Firstly, you have to pay the token amount of 2000/- after that hotel vouchers will be send to you via email or mobile no. within 24 hours.
After that you have to do the second payment within 48hrs. in which your 30% cost of the total package will be covered then driver details will be sent to you.
Then rest of the payment will be in parts during your journey.
You will get full detail of your payment during the journey where you have to pay how much and how much amount is left for paying.
